Description

Programming with Java, Gitlab, Ci/CD Pipeline and AWS ECS
Development of infrastructure as code (IaC) with the help of Cloudformation and Terraform
Design and development of Apache Kafka connectors based on cloud technologies
Design and development of Kafka Producer and Consumer in Java Maven/Gradle between applications and a central event broker
Transformation between design and development for the implementation of prototypes and advice on technical aspects of implementation
Creation and handling of Docker images
Development of different AWS services (ESC, S3, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch…)

Must-have requirements

At least 5 years of experience as AWS cloud DevOps with Gitlab CI/CD pipeline in Java (using Maven/ Gradle)
At least 3 years (or 3 current projects) experience developing and implementing data integration layers through APIs and scalable interfaces to connect various applications and services for and with cloud environments (focus: AWS) and cloud services (esp. ECS, CloudWatch); very good knowledge required
At least 3 years of experience (or 3 current projects) with cloud-based container services; very good knowledge required
At least 2 years of experience (or 3 current projects) with infrastructure as code (AWS CloudFormation/Terraform); very good knowledge required
At least 2 years of experience (or 3 current projects) in building an event-driven architecture and dealing with near/real-time data streams; very good experience required

Target requirements

At least 3 years of experience in agile software development, also in large development environments (e.g. according to SCRUM or SAFe)
At least 3 years of experience in the development of complex enterprise applications
Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka and AWS MSK as well as desirable experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, Kinesis and AWS IoT (experience with the listed tools in at least 3 projects)
At least 3 years of relevant experience and good understanding of networking principles and protocols including VPC configuration, routing and network security concepts within AWS
