We are looking for a Native Cloud Solution Architect (m/f/d) – remote from the industry „Transportation / Logistics“.

Location: Remote

Scope is the participation in the programming for the implementation of different software components, which are used on the basis of current technologies and process models in the context of digitization of the timetable with the aim of an automated timetable construction. The latest standards are set as well as an intensive use of native

Cloud technologies are characterized by a very high proportion of automated test and deployment pipelines.

Tasks:

– Methodical consulting for the client in the area of IT and solution architecture

– Analysis of the current status of IT systems, processes and data flows

– Development of target states and the architectural vision

– Abstracting and visualizing complex interrelationships for different target groups from the development team to the management board

– High willingness to familiarize yourself with railway-related topics

– Developing, evaluating and implementing solution options to get from the current state to the target state

– Recognizing and evaluating risks and identifying possible mitigations

– Taking on tasks at the interface to the enterprise architecture

– Driving forward automation in ART

– Ensuring adherence to compliance and governance guidelines

– Active consulting in the planning and implementation of new visions/features

Must-have requirements:

– In-depth and repeatedly field-tested knowledge of consulting methods and in the field of IT architecture and the use of agile working methods (at least 6 years of practical experience are traceable in the CV)

– Extensive experience in the development of cloud-based architectures (at least 4 years of practical experience can be verified in the CV or the execution of infrastructure reviews according to the Well Framework can be proven)

– Proven practical experience in the elaboration and description of the architecture of complex IT landscapes, especially in data and AI projects (At least 4 years of practical experience can be traced in the CV, will be checked in the interview)

– Several years of practical experience in development as a software engineer or architect (at least 4 years of practical experience can be verified in the CV)

– Confident interaction with middle and senior management, both written and verbal (Cooperation with management in at least 3 projects is traceable in the CV. E.g. significant involvement in steering committees or PI reviews with appropriate participation)

Desirable:

– Experience in data warehouse, ETL and data pipelines including integration of BI tools

– Experience with microservices and/or serverless architecture

– Experience with SAFe/Scrum

– DevOps experience

– Experience with automation solutions / CI/CD
