The tasks in the area of project management consist of the provision of
implementable concepts and applicable documentation. They
primarily include conceptual, operational and, if necessary, administrative
Activities
This includes the following project activities as examples
– Planning and managing projects with a team of up to 10 people
– Conception, optimization and implementation of operational and rollout processes for various services to support administrative processes in the school environment as well as the Berlin school portal and their handover to operations
– Project management (consulting, rollout, transport network, migration, mail migration, setup)
– Control of requirements management
– Control of release management
– Control of development
– Coordination of the implementation and further development of concepts (e.g. rollout concept)
– Planning and coordination of the rollouts at the schools and the migration steps on the part of the various parties involved and monitoring the handover to operations
– Infrastructure support for the implementation of complex IT application systems
– Quality management support
– Creation and, if necessary, further development of specialist concepts (e.g: Training concept, data protection impact assessment, service catalog, conceptual design and implementation of IT service management processes)
– Creation of test concepts / acceptance test specifications as part of the implementation and acceptance of IT systems
– Extensive and in-depth experience in the preparation and implementation of user training courses
– Coordination of service management and technical service management on site at schools or remotely at a large number (>50) of locations
– Experience in various projects related to system implementation
– Creation of various concepts (e.g.: training concept, support concept)

Your profile / skills
Requirements for project management (PM) competence level
– Certification in project management (e.g. Prince2 Foundation and Practicioner, PMBOK Guide (PMI) or ICB (IPMA Competence Baseline))
– ITIL 2011 or v4 Foundation certification
– Sound knowledge and experience with IT application systems in the context of eGovernment in education administrations
– Extensive and profound experience Knowledge in the conception, optimization and implementation of operational and rollout processes and their handover to operations
– Extensive experience in the implementation of current IT infrastructures as well as rollout and operational processes of IT specialist procedures in the school sector (e.g. Lernraum Berlin, itslearning, itslearning, Untis or equivalent)
– Extensive and sound experience in the use of project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, MS Project, MS SharePoint)
