full remote 100%
agile software development
In this exciting project, you will developing/engineering a shared Infrastructure service which serves internal Developers with access (Virtual and Partially Physical) to Embedded SoC Devices. The Service should enable Software Developers for Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) to manually test and debug their software directly on a target hardware System. Main motivation of these approaches is an early and easy overcoming of the architecture gap between x86 and ARM.

Activities and tasks to be performed in the project:
• Development and Operations of a Build Pipeline for an Application for Managed Test Bench Infrastructure
• Developing a software application which deploys, manages and decommissions Virtual development environments connected to Hardware devices
• Design and Operation of the DevOps Systems for building, testing and deploying the Applications components via IaaS tooling
• Define Interfaces and boundaries between Hardware specific, software or Infrastructure components and Help developing respective testing scenarios for the Application and implementing them
• Follow existing best practices for a sustainable application design
• Drive Automation and configuration for an improved scalable deployments
• Develop Monitoring and Operation flows for a seamless operation of an interactive User-near System
Most important skills:
• Very strong knowledge in DevOps Tooling and Testing
• Strong skills in in scripting and automation (python, bash) on Unix Systems
• Proven Track record in building, deploying and operating Software Systems
• First experience in agile software development
• Testing and monitoring of Infrastructure systems
• OpenStack, KVM, QEMU
• Background in ISO/OSI, hardware communication interfaces and protocols as well as related IT security aspects
• Know how in QNX or other Edge Computing Platforms
