Description

DIF / CDIF is an application operated and maintained by DB Systel for DB Cargo. The

availability requirements are particularly high, as the application is classified as part of the critical

critical infrastructure. The application itself is used for dispatching and planning train and

provision of personnel in

rail freight transport. The application is integrated into a highly networked application landscape via several input and output interfaces.

The application is developed in Natural / Adabas and is run on an IBM zOS mainframe.

Your services:

? Consulting for the implementation of requirements in the technical architecture, esp. design and

implementation of interface changes (incl. communication with interface partners for technical implementation)

? Creation of the necessary architecture concepts and their implementation in the DIF / CDIF environment

? Conception, development, test and integration of requirements for the DIF / CDIF application

o Evaluation and conception of change requirements, in particular with regard to integration in the

landscape (incl. consideration of the implementation in the IT architecture taking into account the relevant

requirements in this respect and possible risks arising from this)

o Advising the client on implementation decisions in context

o Close cooperation with 3rd level support in defining maintenance requirements and their implementation

o Design and execution of tests (incl. interfaces)

o Creation of delivery packages and support of delivery into productive system

? Support in change and release management for software deliveries

? Technical contact person for DB Cargo and for interface partners in the case of

Must-have requirements:

– Application development programming language Natural / Adabas

– Application development on platform zOS

– English spoken and written – level B2 equivalent.
