Currently we are looking for DevSecOps Engineer for a platform team.

Location:remote

Workload: Full time desired

The Platform Team is responsible for the installation, configuration and production-ready operation of „middleware“ IT components and offer them as „Platform as a Service“ (PaaS) to the feature teams that implement and operate specialist, cross-functional and basic solutions on the platform. For this purpose, the platform team uses the OpenShift infrastructure provided by the customer’s data center.

The following middleware IT components are to be operated by the platform team based on current knowledge:

– Red Hat AMQ Broker

– OpenShift Monitoring

– OpenShift Logging

– OpenShift Service Mesh

– OpenShift Serverless

– NGINX Web Server

– (Web) Content Management System

– MongoDB

– API Gateway

– ETL

Your Skills:

Knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines, for example through knowledge of using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, etc.

Experience in highly complex and mission critical IT projects (Systems Engineering).

Deep understanding in modern agile software development processes from conception through development, testing, rollout and operations.

Deep understanding and subject matter expertise in DevSecOps, security, container technology, software dependency management, and build artifact management (preferably in cloud-based environments).

Understanding of modern architectures and technologies: Several years of experience in building CI/CD toolchains, SCM systems, configuration management systems such as Git, Tekton, Ansible, Kubernetes, etc.
