Senior Test Manager (m/w/d)

Description

We are looking for a Senior Test Manager.

Tasks
– Managing test planning and execution as well as formulating and driving the strategy for automated testing
– Design and control of a test strategy and partial test concepts for an on-premise data analysis and management platform
– Quality assurance through organizational and technical measures during operation
– Definition of quality criteria (quality gates) for the development of the platform infrastructure as well as selection of test tools and management of the integration of different test tools into the system landscape
– Close collaboration with stakeholders (e.g. architecture, lead product owners, product owners, service management and quality management)
– Technical management of test engineers in the respective development teams
– Definition of framework conditions for test code / glue code for BDD testing and code for test automation
– Responsibility for reporting test results as well as maintaining and improving existing test cases and workflow

Requirements
– Completed studies in computer science or a comparable field as well as sound experience in the development and documentation of test cases with regard to functionality, API, performance, integration and usability
– Practice in the technical management of employees in the development or test area
– Experience with unit and infrastructure tests in a container and development environment
– Comprehensive know-how in test automation (frontend and backend), behavior driven testing and frameworks such as Karma, Selenium, Jest, Cypress,
– Confident knowledge of microservices testing in complex architectures with CI/CD structure and pipelines, e.g. Gitlab Pipeline/Jenkins as well as a basic understanding of DevOps activities
– Knowledge of programming languages for end-to-end, UI and functional tests (Gherkin)
– Practice with component, acceptance, integration, load and stress tests, debugging and performance measurements as well as with tools such as Postman or SoapUI
– Experience in test management in agile projects (Scrum) as well as with ticket management and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence)
