Solution Architect (m/f/d) – Conception Private Cloud Solution

Support as Solution Architect in the area of conception of a private cloud solution for the provision of cloud-based, standardized infrastructure and platform services
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
– Creation of solution and service concepts (solution blueprint) according to the given service development framework
– Portfolio comparison based on the existing functions of the existing services
– Implementation of requirements engineering according to the IREB standard in the current version
– Checking and ensuring the cross-departmental consistency and continuity of the solution/service (end-to-end) by submitting the architecture concepts and further concept documents to Quality Gates
– Coordinating the content, description and release of requirements (portfolio management / demand management)
– Coordinating, describing and approving the content of solution and service concepts with the operating units and their service architects
– Deduction of a solution approach and a service cut based on the customer requirements
– Technical/content-related creation of the solution architecture, service description and other project-specific documents
– Derivation and execution of solution tests, as well as preparation of the solution deployment (provision of the service)
– Designing test cases to verify the requirements for the solutions
– Consideration of reference architectures and architecture specifications of the enterprise architecture when creating the solution architecture
– Development of a technical solution architecture in cooperation with the service areas involved (business units)
– Derivation and implementation of „Request for Changes“ in accordance with the ITIL change management process to finalize the production readiness of the service in terms of ensuring service delivery
– Creating the solution in the modeling tool provided (e.g. ARIS, Alfabet, Sparx EA) or adapting existing solutions if necessary
– Creation of architectural sketches for coordination with the service units involved
– Architectural consulting with regard to applications and IT technologies
– Use of architecture frameworks along the entire development process (e.g. TOGAF, ADM, NAF)
– Architectural consideration of IT security requirements in the solution architecture to be created
– Coordination with the service units on how the solution is to be implemented in the transition phase

Language skills
– German Level C1 – Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
– Basic knowledge of English (reading)

Qualification requirements
1. Knowledge in the use of relevant tools: Word, Excel, Project, Outlook
2. Knowledge of at least one relevant tool for process modeling with BPMN or EPK: ARIS, Sparx or comparable
3. Certification in IT service management: ITIL Foundation or higher
4. Knowledge of at least one relevant architecture framework: TOGAF, NAF, ADM, TÜV or comparable (certificate or self-declaration)
5. Knowledge of BSI basic protection catalogs

Experience requirements
1. Project-related experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Virtual Desktop: Citrix), ideally in the context of a private or hybrid cloud solution (at least 5 years)
2. Experience and knowledge in the context of data center migration, data center environments and asset management based on VMware (at least 5 years)
3. Experience and knowledge of operating process landscapes and the associated frameworks, including ITIL, BSI, service management (at least 5 years)
4. Several years of project-related experience in the public sector, including public administration, Internet and telecommunications providers, etc. (at least 5 years)
